“La Floresta” is a fusion group, where poetry and melodies from Argentinean tango are reinvented by flamenco’s voice and Latin rhythms.

 

The harmony and improvisation from jazz are the language in which these traditional styles speak. The result is an amazing sound.

 

Flamenco’s passion and tango’s sensuality are mixed with the rhythms of candombe, chacarera, bulería and tanguillo gitano in order to recreate the stories and the characters from those tangos that grew up in Buenos Aires during the XX century.

We also have to mention the influence that musicians as Astor Piazzola and Camaron have in these musicians.

 

The musicians came from different parts of the world. They have been working separately until now, bringing the folk of their land to many places around the world. Nowadays they meet in Barcelona to create this new music that is nothing else but culture’s meeting.

The music includes particular versions of traditional Argentinean tangos as well as original compositions by the group. Both singed or instrumentals.
